Bus to Beach is a dedicated transport service operating on select dates during the January school holidays, providing a direct route to Cronulla Beach.
Whether you're heading for a swim, a seaside stroll or a shopping spree, our buses run rain or shine, ensuring you can make the most of your day at Cronulla.
This beloved FREE service has taken over 7,000 Canterbury-Bankstown residents to the beach over the past 20 years and it’s revving up for many more!

Sandcastle competition

Lifeguards' water safety talk
The resident lifeguards will give a live talk sharing essential tips on how to stay safe by the sea.
Buses will run: Saturday 17 and 24 January, Wednesday 14 and 21 January (see timetable below)
Conditions
In 2026, registration will be required for all passengers, and passengers must comply with the following conditions and warnings:
- Attention residents, parents, guardians and carers, Council does not provide supervision during the Bus to Beach program.
- Persons without a registration will not be allowed on the bus.
- Inappropriate conduct or behaviour on the bus will not be tolerated. The bus operator may use its sole discretion in determining the applicable action taken against offenders.
