Beginnings

Sasho grew up in Bankstown and still lives there. He began his football journey playing junior football with Bankstown FC and progressed to senior football, representing the club in the years 1993-1996, 2004-2005 and 2013.

Achievements

Sasho played as an attacker and centre forward. He made his international debut in 2001 against Japan. He scored a goal in the Asian Cup qualifier against Kuwait in 2006. Sasho played in the A-League for Sydney FC in 2005 and 2007, the Central Coast Mariners from 2007-2009, Newcastle Jets in 2009-2011, South Coast Wolves 2011-2013 and Bankstown City in 2013. Sasho was the sixth player to reach 100 A League caps. Sasho also played with the Socceroos where he won two of his caps. During his time with the A-League he was known as one of the most prolific strikers, as he scored 41 goals in his time at the clubs.

Post Representation

Post career, Sasho looked into different career options. He is now based in Wollongong and is doing security work, an interest that developed doing the standard drug-test after games and talking with the security guard.
