Olivia Magno

Olivia's sporting ability was recognised early in her career when she played for NSW in the U/18 in 1989/90-1990/91and U/21 in 1991/92-1992/93. Olivia was selected to represent Australia in 1995 in One Day Internationals against New Zealand and in the same year would make her Test debut at 23 years of age against New Zealand.

Beginnings

In 1987 Olivia's cricket career began at 15 years of age and she went on to become a member of the Australian Youth Squad in 1993-1994.Olivia has represented Bankstown District Cricket Club and SA Scorpions.

Achievements

Olivia has played in a total of 44 test and ODI matches, and had her test debut playing against New Zealand in 1996..

Olivia gained her medical degree at the University of NSW in 1998 and completed her fellowship to the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2005.

Post Representation

On gaining her medical degree in 1998, Olivia has been able to accommodate her sports training and medical commitments with a special interest in sports medicine. After her retirement from Test and ODI Matches Olivia has continued to play in Australia and Overseas and in 2012 joined Northern Territory Cricket as head coach.
