Michelle Goszko

A strong and elegant player, Michelle was selected to represent Australian in One Day Internationals in 1997 against New Zealand. Her Test debut would follow four years later in 2001 against England. Michelle would become known for her sparking test debut when she scored a double century etching her name in the history of women's cricket.

Beginnings

In 1995 Michelle completed Year 12 at Colo High and played for Bankstown Cricket Club, UTS and Balmain.

Achievements

Michelle played 4 Tests and 34 One Day Internationals for Australia from 1997 to 2006. On June 25, when Michelle passed 131 she set a new record for the highest score on debut in the 112-match history of women's Tests, At 204 she equalled the mark for the highest individual score by any batsman since women's Tests began in 1934.
