Join the Mayor’s Lights Out Sleepout!
Mayor Bilal El-Hayek is hosting a sleepout at Belmore Sports Ground to help raise funds and awareness of people experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness
6pm Friday 28 August - 7am Saturday 29 August 2026
Mayor Bilal El-Hayek is challenging business CEOs, community organisations, local schools, community leaders and members of our community to brave the cold and help raise funds to tackle homelessness by supporting his fourth annual Lights Out Sleepout.
The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have thrown their support behind the Sleepout again as the host venue and all funds donated will go to three charities tackling homelessness in our City.
There are many ways that you can support this event.
