Georges River Ridge Walk – Beach Lagoon Circuit

Walk through stunning national park and along the sandy beaches of the Georges River

Sunday 3 May, 8-11:30am

Join Council and National Parks representatives on this scenic and informative bushwalk along the Georges River Ridge Track, across to the Yeramba Lagoon circuit track and then back to the picnic area.

We will stop several times to view vistas of the river through the trees, as well as a longer lunch stop on an open sandstone platform above the river bend. The walk will take about 3 hours including planned breaks.

Please bring water, any food you wish to eat, a hat, sun protection, long pants, long sleeved shirt, adequately enclosed walking shoes or boots, and an eagerness to learn and appreciate our beautiful natural areas and waterways!

A small part of this walk is quite steep, so a moderate fitness level is required. This walk is suitable for children aged 12 years and over and may not be suitable for those over 70 years old, due to a steep section of the walk.
