Join us for a fauna-focused walk and talk through Yana Badu wetlands, a tucked away environmental icon within the upper Cooks River.

The walk will be hosted by Deryk Engel, an ecologist with much knowledge of local birds and other fauna.

Bring along a hat, drinking water, protective long-sleeved clothing, waterproof shoes or boots and a willingness to quietly listen to the sounds of our backyard river, the Cooks River in its urban surroundings.

This event will only be cancelled in heavy rain or storm conditions. Light rain can add to the experience and cause more fauna to be visible. In the event of heavy rain, CBCity will advise attendees if the event is called off by 7am that morning.

NOTE: Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
