Council is not the only stakeholder responsible for delivering a smart and future ready City. From the community that gives our City character, to state government departments and local businesses, we must work together to strategically align our vision and efforts to deliver a Smart City. Council will work closely with our state and federal government counterparts, to ensure we are taking a tri-government approach to building a smart future for the City Canterbury-Bankstown.
In 2028, Canterbury-Bankstown will be thriving, dynamic and real. While CBCity 2028 identifies the aspirations, it also provides a framework for our Smart CBCity Roadmap and how technology and data can better assist us in addressing some of the key challenges:
We are inviting you to be a part of the bigger picture. If you are a community organisation, vendor or researcher operating within or servicing the Canterbury-Bankstown region and would like to get involved with Smart Cities, we want to hear from you!
Our rivers and creeks form a beautiful part of our infrastructure, but we need to take care of them and ensure that they don’t pose a threat.
