Listed below are several ways to pay your rates account:
Council will automatically deduct from your nominated account (excluding credit cards) the amount due, either the total amount annually or by quarterly instalments on the due dates.
Direct Debit Request Form
Contact your participating bank, credit union or building society to make this payment from your nominated account. The bank will ask for your Biller Code 35055 and Reference Number (see front of your rates notice).
Council's Biller Code (Canterbury Branch) is 35055
The reference number can be found next to the BPAY logo on the front of your rates/instalment notice.
Pay your rates online using Mastercard, Visa.
PAY ONLINE VIA BPOINT
Visit BPOINT and use the Biller Code 35055, with the Reference Number located next to the BPOINT logo on the front of your rates notice.

PAY ONLINE VIA POST Billpay
Canterbury Branch only
Visit POST Billpay and use the Billpay Code 9146, with the Reference Number located next to the Billpay logo on the front of your rates notice.
Call 1300 276 468 any time to make payments using Mastercard or Visa. Have your credit card ready to make the payment and use the Reference Number next to the BPoint logo on the front of your rates notice.
You can pay at your local Post Office or at any Post Office across Australia.
You may also ring 13 18 16 to make a payment, by using the Billpay Code 9146 and the Reference Number on the front of your rates notice. Mastercard and Visa accepted.
Payment can be made by cash, credit card (Mastercard or Visa), debit card (EFTPOS) or cheque1.
Come into Canterbury-Bankstown Council - Campsie Branch, 137 Beamish St, Campsie between 9.00am and 5pm Monday to Friday (excluding holidays).
1Cheques must be made out for the correct amount, change will not be given.
Send your cheque and rate notice to PO Box 77, Campsie, NSW 2194. The cheque is to be made payable to Canterbury-Bankstown Council. Please note if a receipt is not required, return the deposit slip only, with your payment.
You may pay your rates at any Commonwealth Bank, even if you do not have an account with them. Complete the details on the bank deposit slip on your rates notice and provide with payment.
Centrepay is a voluntary bill-paying service that is free for Centrelink customers. Use Centrepay to arrange regular deductions from your Centrelink payment. You can set up your deductions through your Centrelink account online. Our service provider reference number is 555 054 051 H.
