Listed below are several ways to pay your rates account:
Council will automatically deduct from your nominated account (excluding credit cards) the amount due, either the total amount annually or by quarterly instalments on the due dates.
Contact your financial institution to make the payment from your cheque or savings account (credit cards are not accepted).
Council's Biller Code (Bankstown Branch) is 34280
The reference number is your rates account number which can be found on the front of your rates/instalment notice.
This information is also included on the bottom of each rates/instalment notice.
You can pay your rates online using Mastercard, Visa or Amex.
Council's Biller Code (Bankstown Branch) is 34280 and your reference number is located next to the BPOINT logo on the front of your rates notice.

Call 1300 133 791 any time to pay with a credit card (Mastercard, Visa, or Amex*). Have your credit card ready to make the payment and use the Reference Number next to the BPoint logo on the front of your rates notice.
You can pay at your local Post Office or at any Post Office across Australia.
Payment can be made by cash, credit card (Mastercard or Visa*), debit card (EFTPOS) or cheque1.
Come into Canterbury-Bankstown Council – Bankstown Branch, Upper Ground Floor, 66-72 Rickard Road, Bankstown between 8.30am and 5pm Monday to Friday (excluding holidays).
1Cheques must be made out for the correct amount, change will not be given.
Detach the payment options slip from your rates/instalment notice and send your cheque made payable to Canterbury-Bankstown Council to PO Box 8, Bankstown, NSW 1885. Please note that a receipt will not be issued.
