Netball Competition - Every Friday morning during school terms in 2019.

Next comp starts Friday 1st February

  • Competition: 6 a side
  • Fees: $600 per Team
  • Individual Rego: $20 per financial year​

MIISC Netball Competition Terms & Conditions

Mixed Competition

  • Must be 16 years or older to play;
  • It is a six a-side competition;
  • No more than three males on the court at any one time;
  • Only one male can play in the following position at any one time:
    • One male in Goal Shooter or Goal Attack;
    • One male in Wing Attack, Centre or Wing Defence; and
    • One male in Goal Defence or Goal Keeper.
  • You cannot borrow more than two players from another team if short of players;
  • Teams cannot fill in players for the finals;
  • All players must sign scoresheets before the game commences; and
  • All players play at their own risk.

Ladies Competition

  • Must be 16 years or older to play;
  • It is a six a-side competition;
  • You cannot borrow more than two players from another team if short of players;

  • All players play at their own risk.

Team Registration & Fees

  • All teams must complete team nomination form on the website and submit it to the centre before the commencement of the competition;
  • Individual registration and team deposit is due prior to the first game; and
  • Remaining team fees are due by round four of competition.

Forfeits

To protect the integrity of the competition, the following information applies:

  • Every team is required to field a team of five players at a minimum before the game can start;
  • Failure to field a team within 10 minutes of a game time starting will result in a forfeit being awarded to the opposite team; and
  • Refunds are not applied for any withdrawal of teams from the competition.

Game Length & Game control

  • All games are 4 x 9 minute quarters; and
  • The game is controlled by at least one  umpire.

Player complaints

In the circumstance by which a player wishes to make a complaint against an umpire, team or individuals, this is strictly to be done by way of emailing the centre manager whose details can be obtained by staff at the reception desk. 

Insurance

Players participate in this competition at their own risk.
