Digital crusader, educator and entrepreneur, Tim Gentle, is set to share his virtual reality marketing secrets with Canterbury-Bankstown businesses.
Mr Gentle will be the special guest at the annual Canterbury-Bankstown Business Advisory Service’s networking breakfast and golf day next Tuesday (29 November) at Bankstown Golf Club.
“Local business leaders should be prepared to buckle up as we explore new technologies that allow us to immerse our customers into our business to help drive more leads, close more sales and service our existing customers,” Mr Gentle said.
“You’ll also learn how to create your own 360° virtual tours of your business and then upload them to your Google Maps listing.”
City of Canterbury Bankstown Administrator, Richard Colley, said Mr Gentle and his virtual reality experience proved a sensation at the recent Get Connected @ the South West Sydney Business Expo.
“This is an incredibly rare opportunity for local businesses to tap into 21st century marketing like corporate high flyers, such as Australia Post, which have enlisted his help,” Mr Colley said.
Places are filling fast for the popular day of networking which will also raise funds for the Leukemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave, and includes breakfast, lunch, a round of golf, and a chance to win a car.
Three business leaders have agreed to have their heads shaved, including Senior Business Adviser for SmallBiz Connect, Ghassan Nehme.
“It’s always in our hearts to do something that’s good so when the opportunity came to take part in the event, I volunteered for it,” Mr Nehme said.
“It will be rewarding because I know that I will be doing something to help others.”
The event networking breakfast and golf day is free for CBBAS members and $40 for non-members. To register, call Domenica Mirarchi on 9707 9227 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
