Hurlstone Park community space
A multipurpose meeting room with covered outdoor breakout space, toilet facilities and a kitchenette will provide a new place to gather in Memorial Reserve.

Lang Road bridge, Ewen Park
The new bridge across the Cooks River at Ewen Park will improve the way pedestrians and cyclists share the space and help connect the Cooks River and surrounding areas.
•A temporary cycle detour will be active from February-October 2020•Expected completion: late 2020
Foord Avenue rain garden
This new bio-retention system and pathway upgrade next to the Cooks River will improve the quality of stormwater runoff, making the area safer for pedestrians and cyclists and encouraging native vegetation.

Hurlstone Park town centre improvements
The first stage of upgrades to the Hurlstone Park town centre will improve accessibility, walkability and liveability. It's part of our plan to deliver attractive and sustainable town centres.

Ewen Park outdoor education space
A new covered outdoor space with seating and landscaping will complement the Lang Road bridge project, creating an area for local groups to gather and enjoy the Cooks River.

Revised Hurlstone Park heritage initiatives
The Hurlstone Park Heritage Planning Proposal will protect our rich heritage with newly proposed controls to conserve heritage buildings and areas.
