The City of Canterbury Bankstown is on the hunt for the most outstanding women who make a difference in the community.
In celebration of International Women’s Day 2023, residents are encouraged to nominate an inspiring woman who lives or works in Canterbury-Bankstown for CBCity’s Women’s Awards Program.
It may be a woman who demonstrates leadership, contributes to improving the lives of people in the community, or continuously goes above and beyond her occupational role.
Nominations are now open across two categories:
Canterbury-Bankstown Mayor Khal Asfour said the awards are about recognising the exceptional contributions, hard work and determination of women across the City.
“We have so many wonderful women in our City, and I want to recognise and give praise to them,” Mayor Asfour said.
“Whether it’s a dedicated mother or grandmother, a teacher who has gone above and beyond, or a tireless volunteer and advocate for change, we all know a woman who has made an impact on our lives.
“They’re the unsung heroes… the wonder women in our City, and I encourage you all to shine a light on them by nominating them for an award.”
Nominations are open until Wednesday 29 March, 11.59pm.
