Residents are encouraged to clean out their studies and free up some cupboard space, as Council’s free electrical waste drop-off event is just around the corner.
In addition to the well-utilised Chemical CleanOut events, the e-waste collection provides an excellent opportunity for residents to safely recycle their electrical waste, which often cannot be disposed of in their red or yellow bins.
Canterbury-Bankstown Mayor Bilal El-Hayek said during the last round of collections in 2020, residents recycled more than 19 tonnes of electrical waste items.
