Each week we have a heap of new online programs and activities for you to do in the safety and comfort of your home during lockdown – all FREE! Check out our list of programs below.

2021 Scam and Fraud Awareness Week:

Stop scams, speak up!

We live in a good community, but unfortunately opportunistic scams and frauds can still catch some people off guard.  

The number one way you can prevent scams is by talking about them. Talk to family and friends to keep the conversation alive and boost awareness.

JobFit

An employment readiness program which prepares young people for the workforce and career pathways.

Learn how to:

  • write a resume;
  • write a cover letter; and
  • prepare for job interviews.

Backyard Chickens

Are you curious about keeping chickens? Learn all you need to know about these feathery friends from Chicken Mum, Toni Salter, The Veggie Lady.

Communication Mastery Workshop for Youth

Identify and master your communication style by learning from an expert communicator .

Learn how to:

  • understand important communication factors;
  • make a great first impression;
  • communicate effectively online; and
  • build trust and respect.

Happy Houseplants

Houseplants can bring you joy, freshen up your home and improve your indoor air quality. Toni Salter aka The Veggie Lady will share her expertise so you can confidently choose, care and maintain houseplants.

Zumba Gold for Seniors

Read and Sing

20min live virtual story time with a Librarian from Canterbury Bankstown libraries. Each week will have new stories, songs and words of the day.

Strength & Balance class

A fun session with music focusing on Strength, Balance and Flexibility. Simple and basic exercises, a great way to boost your confidence in getting back to Fitness & Wellbeing.
