We provide fitness classes for the community in our Leisure and Aquatic Centres. Catering for all abilities and fitness levels, these classes are delivered by Council and are designed to provide you with a holistic experience.

Our classes cater for all fitness levels and abilities. You can combine athletic aerobic movements with strength and stabilisation exercises, or interval training which is sport-inspired and high-energy. Be prepared to work hard in a fun and challenging environment. There are so many classes to choose from each week at times to suit.
Below are our wide range of group classes:
Enjoy low impact exercise on your joints with a total body workout. Suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
Gentle to moderate aqua class. Suitable for all ages and fitness levels, ideal for those less active and seniors. Beneficial for those with blood pressure, arthritis, joint problems or injury rehabilitation.
A toning and firming class using weights and water as resistance. Suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
Held in the pool, this class incorporates aqua noodles and aqua dumbbells for a fun workout while burning calories. You will get fit while toning and shaping your body using the resistance of water and you’ll Increase cardio-vascular fitness. Suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
A high-energy, calorie-consuming athletic workout that will challenge push you with strong, simple moves and pumping music. This is the most intense workouts you'll find - a session guaranteed to take no prisoners.
An energizing step workout that makes you feel liberated and alive. Using a height adjustable step and simple movements, you get huge motivation from pumping music. Cardio blocks push fat-burning systems into high gear followed by muscle conditioning tracks that shape and tone your body. Suitable for all ages and fitness levels.Please note: the 30 minute BodyStep class does not have time for a cool down/stretch at the end. Please ensure you take your own time to stretch after class.
This high energy class is designed to get your heart rate up and increase your fitness. The class may include any one or a combination of step, aerobics, circuit and/or BodyAttack. Suitable for all ages and fitness levels, with low impact options.
Strengthen your core, back and abdominals in this 45 minute class which will help to improves muscle balance, flexibility, and helps to reduce injuries.Suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
This lower intensity class is designed for those new to exercise or coming back after injury or illness. It will help to improve core muscle strength, balance and helps to improve overall strength and fitness. Suitable for all ages and fitness levels, ideal for beginners.
This is a circuit interval training class, with alternating periods of short intense exercise and less intense recovery periods. It will help improve athletic conditioning, improved glucose metabolism and improved fat burning. Suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
This is an aerobics class with low and high impact moves, with the added option of using hand weights for toning. Suitable for all ages and fitness levels, with no complex choreography.
This class consists of floor exercises to strengthen and tone weaker muscle groups, abdominals and hamstrings. It will help to improve muscle balance, flexibility, coordination and reduce injury.Suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
This is a non-impact class designed to give your body a complete workout with barbells and weights. Emphasis is placed on developing and using the correct techniques using light to medium weights with high repetitions.Suitable for people of all fitness levels aged 14 years and over.
This class incorporates dynamic and gentle stretching, concentration and meditation to improve breathing techniques.Suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
Our personal trainers are fully qualified with years of experience in weight loss, strength and muscle gain, and training for improving athletic performance and injury rehabilitation. Whatever your fitness goal we have a personal trainer who will guide and motivate you to help you stay on track.
