Small group fitness training is a great way to maximise your results!
It is big enough to still have fun without compromising on quality... think group personal training for just a fraction of the price! Come and be part of the CBFit community, exercise with like-minded people and see the transformation in your mental health, energy levels and overall wellbeing.

CBfit Birrong is located in our Birrong Leisure and Aquatic Centre. Visit us on Wellington Road, Birrong or call 9707 5500.

Prior to your first class
All participants will be required to complete a Pre-exercise Screening Form.
To save time, you can print this off and bring this along with you - Pre-Exercise Questionnaire
You will also be required to bring a towel along with you to all classes.

Our new 'All Access Membership' allows unlimited access to:

  • aqua aerobic classes - Birrong, Roselands and Max Parker Leisure & Aquatic Centres

For ONLY $35 per fortnight, direct debit!

That's $17.50 per week/ $2.5 per day... for all classes, pool use and the flexibility to chose your location!

Class Descriptions:

A.B.T. (Abs, Butt & Thigh)

A class combined with bodyweight and strength- based exercises focused on your Abs, Butt and Thighs to give you a killer burn for that lower body and core. Suitable for all fitness levels

Aqua

Held in the heated indoor pools, this class incorporates aqua noodles and aqua dumbbells for a fun workout while burning calories. Your fitness will improve through the gentle cardio without any strain from gravity on your hips, knees or ankles. Suitable for all fitness levels including beginners, those who are pregnant or those recovering from an illness or injury.

Aqua - Gentle

A slower paced Aqua class in shallow water that focuses on the fundamentals of Aqua Aerobics. This class is designed for beginners to intermediates and non-swimmers to build confidence within the water.

Core & Stretch

A class designed to lengthen your muscles and target each of the major muscle groups with gentle mobilising movements. This is combined with exercises to help strengthen the core that underpins these major muscle groups. Suitable for all fitness levels.

Dance Fitness

A class that incorporates some or many forms of dance with the combination of fitness movements. It’s an aerobic workout, divided into different tracks that provide peaks and troughs of intensity. The overall intensity of a class varies on your ability which allows the class to be suitable for all fitness levels. This is a higher impact class.

Fit & Strong

This class is designed for those new to exercise or coming back after an injury or illness. This class is lower intensity and will help strengthen your core muscles, improve your balance and help improve your overall strength and fitness. Suitable for all fitness levels.

Functional FIT

A circuit style class performing functional exercises that incorporate movements and tasks simulated in everyday life. Using bodyweight, slam balls, kettlebells, battle ropes, suspension trainers and more, this class will get your whole body working. Medium to high level intensity. Adaptable to suit most fitness levels.

HIIT

A high intensity interval class using functional equipment and bodyweight exercises designed to get the heart rate up with short rest intervals. Adaptable to suit most fitness levels.

Shape

A low impact class designed to give your body a complete workout with barbells and plates. Emphasis is on correct technique, using light to medium weights with high repetitions. Suitable for all fitness levels.

Strength & Balance

This low impact class with light cardio and strength training using bodyweight,
dumbbells and resistance bands will increase strength, balance and mobility and get the body moving and blood flowing. Suitable for those wanting a lighter level of intensity.

Yoga

This class incorporates dynamic and gentle stretches, whilst encouraging abdominal engagement and strength. Concentration and meditation are also taught through practiced breathing techniques.
