After serving the community for more than 40 years, Wran Leisure & Aquatic Centre will be closing its doors to make way for a new parkland in Goondah Reserve.
The decision to close the Centre wasn’t an easy one and was passed by Council in 2019 after receiving a report outlining the deteriorating state of the facility, huge operating costs to residents and the dwindling attendances. 
The doors are expected to close in early February 2024, but anyone with membership will have full access to all our Leisure & Aquatic Centres, including the nearby Birrong Leisure and Aquatic Centre, on Wellington Road.
The new parkland will be a magnificent recreation open space for all families to visit and enjoy.
