COVID-19 UPDATES, 14 OCTOBER 2021

Sefton Golf Course is currently openPlease note the following :

• Face masks upon entering the course and signing in

• Face masks upon using the amenities within the clubhouse

• Face masks upon leaving the course 

• Face masks on the course only when the 1.5m distance has been compromised

• Phone bookings only – no walk ins

• Cashless payments preferred

• 10 minutes between tee offs

• Group of 4 vaccinated customers per tee off.  Groups of 2 unvaccinated customers per tee off.

• The hiring of carts is allowed: 1 unvaccinated person per cart, or 2 vaccinated.

• No entry to club house

• Every patron to register their visit with Service NSW QR code

• No hire of buggies, clubs, equipment etc. 

• No private golf carts or scooters permitted

• Amenities to be accessed from side door of the club house only

• No use of tables / BBQ areas

Sefton Golf Course Health and Safety Notice

In response to COVID-19:

To prevent the spread of COVID-19 and respect the health and wellbeing of others, we have implemented our COVIDSafe plan. Customers must comply with the plan and the following safety rules:

In Pro Shop:

• Use hand sanitiser when entering the Proshop;

• Masks must be worn in the Proshop;

•1 customer in the proshop at any one time;

• All participants must sign in using the QR Code for the Services NSW App

• Cashless payments are preferred and bookings are to be made in advance, over the phone;

• Keep 1.5m distance between others at all times;

• Buggies and golf clubs are not available for hire at this stage

On Golf Course:

• There is a maximum number of 4 vaccinated or 2 unvaccinated people per playing group permitted;

Keep 1.5m distance between others at all times;

• Use your own equipment - every player MUST have their own bag and clubs;

• Sand buckets are not in use, Council staff will repair divots on course;

• Flag sticks have been removed - hole location guide will be available prior to begining play;

• No rakes in bunkers at any time;

• No sand buckets at any  time;


Use of Golf Carts

The hiring of golf carts is permitted. There is a maximum of 2 vaccinated, or 1 unvaccinated persons in the cart at any one time.

Dress Code

Shirts: 

  • Shirts with sleeves must be worn at all times
  • No singlets, muscle tees or tank tops
Pants:
  • Shorts, jeans, trousers or skorts are acceptable
  • No ripped or torn items of clothing
Footwear:
  • Participants must have covered footwear with flat soles
  • No soccer/football boots
  • No steel capped or work boots
  • No thongs/flip flops or sandals

General Health And Safety

Continue to practice good hygiene at all times.

Customers who fail to comply with these safety rules, will be required to leave immediately, and will forfeit their green fees.

We're open everyday except Christmas Day and Good Friday, the course provides an enjoyable golfing experience for all types of golfers.

  • Summer hours: 2-6pm

  • There is no Twilight Golf on public holidays

  • Pensioner - $28.00
  • Upgrade from 9 to 18 - $17.00
  • Deposite payable for cart hire: $50.00

BUGGY HIRE

  • $8.00 (per round)

Opening hours

  • 6.00am to 6.00pm (Summer)
  • 6.00am to 5.00pm (Winter, as of 1 May)
  • CLOSED on Christmas Day

New Credit/Debit Surcharge - Effective 1 July, 2021

Valued Customers, 
Please be advised that from 1 July 2021, a credit/debit card surcharge will be applied to all transactions at Council’s Leisure & Aquatic Centres and Sefton Golf Course. 
The surcharge is an adopted charge within Council’s Fees and Charges structure and will be applied to cover the merchant fees that Council is charged by the Bank to provide this payment facility.  
The surcharge is 0.62% and will be automatically added to program and service fees when a credit/debit card is used. 
Customers can avoid paying the surcharge by inserting their savings/debit card into the terminal at the time of payment. Tap and go facilities will incur the surcharge.  
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
