Our Environmental Sustainability Policy was adopted by Council at its June 2023 Ordinary Council meeting.

The policy outlines our commitment to including sustainable practices into our functions and services.  It will act as a guide when we create plans, policies and procedures to ensure that we are actively reducing greenhouse gas emissions and waste, as well as managing our local ecosystems to achieve a cleaner, greener and sustainable CBCity.

We are committed to being a leader in environmental sustainability with strong and effective actions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and waste to landfill, increase urban tree cover and achieve a clean and sustainable CBCity with healthy waterways and natural areas.
