The Canterbury-Bankstown Local Infrastructure Contributions Plan 2022 enables Council to impose Section 7.11 contributions and Section 7.12 levies on development to help fund the cost of providing new public local infrastructure and services across the City of Canterbury Bankstown. The plan also identifies projects that will be funded by the contributions and levies.

This Register covers consents for which contributions have been paid since 1 January 2018. The Register was last updated on 20 April 2023. Regular updating of the register is intended. The Register is prepared in accordance with section 217 of the Environmental Planning & Assessment Regulation 2021. To view a register of contributions-related consents issued before 1 January 2018, pease contact Council’s Development Team.
The Canterbury Development Contributions Plan 2013 enables Council to impose Section 7.11 contributions and Section 7.12 levies on development to help fund the cost of providing new public local infrastructure and services in the former Canterbury LGA (except for the Canterbury Town Centre and Riverfront Precinct – see below). The plan also identifies projects that will be funded by the contributions and levies. From 1 September 2022 until 31 December 2022, the Bankstown Development Contributions Plan 2019 only applies to development applications or complying development certificates which were lodged but not determined before 1 September 2022. On 1 January 2023 the Plan will be repealed and any undetermined applications will be subject to the Canterbury Bankstown Local Infrastructure Contributions Plan 2022 – see link above on this webpage.

This plan applies only to the Canterbury Town Centre and Riverfront Precinct, as defined in the plan. From 1 September 2022 until 31 December 2022, the Canterbury Town Centre and Riverfront Precinct Development Contributions Plan only applies to development applications or complying development certificates which were lodged but not determined before 1 September 2022.On 1 January 2023 the Plan will be repealed and any undetermined applications will be subject to the Canterbury Bankstown Local Infrastructure Contributions Plan 2022 – see link above on this webpage.
A copy of the superseded Canterbury City Section 94 Contributions Plan 2005 is also available for historical purposes. Contributions levied under this plan will still continue to be indexed as allowed for by the condition of consent.
