​​Interpretation

If you speak a language other than English and need help understanding a Council matter, letter, report, or other correspondence, please call Council on 9707 9000 for assistance.

If you have very limited English, you can contact Multicultural NSW on 131 450 and ask them to contact Council on your behalf. The Multicultural NSW interpreter service will coordinate a three-way telephone conversation, where Council Customer Service Officers will be able to provide assistance through the interpreter.

You can also visit Council's Customer Service Centre. If you have very limited English, it would be helpful to bring a friend or family member along to act as an interpreter.

​Council also has staff who speak languages other than English who may be able to act as an interpreter to assist you with matters related to Council.
