The 'Community Partnership Against Violence'(CPAV) committee lead by Campsie Police Area Command and which Council is a part of, have organised the sixth annual 'No Excuse for Abuse' Lakemba March for Friday, 23 November 2018.

Over the past five years, this event has attracted over 1,500 participants and it is expected to continue to grow. The march provides an opportunity for local residents, schools and organisations to show their support in preventing and ending Domestic Violence within the community.

Show your support by joining the community on:

  • Date: Friday, 23 November 2018
  • Registration: 5.30pm
  • Start: 6pm from the corner of Gilles Street and Haldon Street, Lakemba
  • Ends: Parry Park

​There will be food, entertainment and performances that promote the message that there is no excuse for abuse at the end of the march​.
