Toby would like to invite all his friends to the libraries for some fun filled school holiday activities. Play a ukulele, meet some local wildlife, yell out 'BINGO! 'or join the Dungeons and Dragons quest.
If you're looking for something more adventurous, meet some native animals or join the scavenger hunt from Bankstown and Padstow libraries and solve the clues to be in the running for a prize.
Taronga Zoo is on the road and will bring some fantastic Australian animals for you to meet, including Ink the Black Headed Python, Spike the Echidna and Puff the Bearded Dragon.
Help create your own hero's story. Put your ideas together with others to help solve riddles, create allies, find clues and defeat evil! This tabletop role-playing game is sure to inspire your cooperative problem solving, maths and literacy skills. Bookings are essential - see the schedule below.
Tom Harding's passion for this amazingly portable instrument is infectious, and his ability to involve everybody is incredible. Along with the hands-on experience, children will learn some facts about the ukulele and how many styles of music including disco, funk, pop, and jazz sound great when Tom plays these four strings.
Join local author Nisrine El-Choueifati for a fun filled interactive story time, as she reads her book: "I Have a Magic Ball". Please bring along a soft ball to the story time.
