About

Greenacre Library and Knowledge Centre has been a staple of the community for over 50 years. It was innovative for its time, and continues to be so today. The collections available are enviable and of a high quality; featuring the latest releases and old favourites from fiction and research perspectives. The Library and Knowledge Centre ​is a gateway to a wealth of information and entertainment.

There are study areas, in addition to areas specifically for children. Three computers are available to use for free, as well as Wi-Fi. There's a self-service kiosk, photocopying and printing. Facilities are modern, and there is even a public toilet.

Programs

  • Preschool Storytime for two to five year olds at 11am-noon; 
  • Evening Preschool Storytime for two and five year olds;
  • Baby Rhyme Time for babies aged up to 24 months and their carers;
  • School holiday activities for five to 12 year olds;  
  • Beginner computer classes;
  • English conversation classes;
  • Monthly bus to Greenacre Library and Knowledge Centre ​for housebound members;
  • Legotastic Club; and 
  • BAD Gamers (board ​and dice games).
