About this Hall

This is a perfect hall for a range of activities and functions. It has a gated grass area, perfect for young children to run around safely and play. The grass area is adjacent to the hall and comes with the hall hire. A BBQ is located between the hall and the grassed area. Please be aware that this facility is located within residential areas. Noise should be kept to a minimum when arriving, using and leaving the premises.

Maximum Capacity: 130 people

Facilities: A kitchen with two fridges, boiling hot water system, oven, microwave and two outdoor BBQs.

Air-conditioning: Yes and ceiling fans.

Room equipment: 25 tables and 130 chairs. Hirers must supply all their own cutlery, plates, glasses and table cloths.

Amusement Device: A jumping castle is permitted on the grassed area (outside), however, public liability insurance to the limit of $20 million with Canterbury Bankstown Council listed as an interested party MUST be supplied.

PA system: Yes

Wi Fi Access: No

Accessibility: Accessible toilet. Entrance and hall are all ground level.

Parking: Car park is adjacent to the hall.

Sunday to Thursday: 8am-10pm
Friday and Saturday: 8am–midnight

Hall Charges

  • Weekends: $76 per hour
  • Block rates: $380 for a block of 9am–4pm or 5pm–midnight 
    (Please note that the 5pm–midnight rate is only for Friday and Saturday)
  • Weekday casual: $49 per hour
  • Permanent: $32 per hour
  • Bond: ​$500

Community Rates: Council provides not-for-profit, incorporated organisations a discounted community rate for hire. Contact us at Council for more information.

Conditions of use

All set up and pack down needs to be completed within the hire times. The hirer must leave the hall clean and tidy as they found it. No amusement devices are permitted inside the hall. Hirers must keep noise to a minimum when arriving, and leaving the premises. Damage to property or an unclean hall will lead to money being deducted from the bond. Entering and exiting the hall outside hire times will incur fines.

Georges Hall Meeting Room

The meeting room does not come with the hire of the hall and is not suitable as an additional room for casual functions due to its carpeted surface.
