Harmony Week is about inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone. Let’s come together as a community to celebrate our inclusivity, kindness and compassion.

  • Indigenous smoking ceremony;
  • Cultural performances;
  • Face painting;
  • Animal farm;
  • BBQ; and
  • Lots of fun!

Welcoming Week in Canterbury-Bankstown

Welcoming Week (8-17 September) is an annual campaign and celebration to showcase the movement of communities striving to be more welcoming places for all.

Council is hosting a series of events to support new residents, particularly those seeking asylum and refugees, to feel welcome and accepted in their new community.
