The Belmore Youth Resource Centre is currently closed to the public.

Belmore Youth Resource Centre operates as a one stop shop for young people and our aim is to provide programs and policies for young people in our City that reflect their needs.

We are committed to working in partnership with young people and local organisations, in order to address the identified needs and issues within our community.

Programs available at BYRC

Term 3 Online Drop-ins

Join us online with awesome rounds of trivia, scavenger hunts, social chats and much more. Take us up on this invite for your chance to win some great prizes.

  • When: Wednesdays
  • Time: 3-4.30pm
  • Who: 12 – 18 years old

@YOUTH Drop In

Come and enjoy FREE food, hang out with your friends or make new ones and have fun in a chilled out social environment.
We’ve got FREE Wi-Fi, snooker, table tennis, game consoles and so much more to keep you busy and entertained. Helpful support services to help young people thrive are also available from local community organisations.

Ask us about our new Loyalty Card. Get a $10 gift voucher for every 10 visits.

  • When: Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays starting Term 1
  • Time: 3-5pm
  • Who: Young people aged 12-18 years
  • Cost: FREE 


Council is looking for passionate young women to join our Sisterhood Program. The benefits of joining the Sisterhood Program are to:

  • Learn how to develop programs and activities for young women.
  • Create the Sisterhood podcast.
  • Share free delicious healthy snacks and fun activities.
  • Gain skills in personal development, leadership, event planning & communication.
  • Gain experience and skills which can be added to your resume.

This program is targeted towards females from ages 12-24.

The program will run every Monday 3-5pm (or whatever time they can arrive after school/uni/college).

Registrations are preferred; however walk-ins will be accepted. Register here.

Belmore Fun Friends  

Become our BFF and discover great ways to make after-school plans with our huge range of youth activities. Meet our friendly staff and view the centre. Parents are welcome to come along. As always, snacks and drinks are provided.

  • When: 3-5pm, every Tuesday
  • Who: 8-12 year olds and their parents/guardians
  • Cost: FREE

Address: Building 3, 38-40 Redman Parade, Belmore

If you are coming by train, just get off at Belmore station and simply turn right as you exit from the top of the station at Burwood Road. Walk about 100 metres down Redman Parade. When you get to the last building on the right, you will have reached us. Now all you have to do is simply come in!
