Belmore Youth Resource Centre is a purpose built resource centre for young people aged 12 to 24 years. The centre operates as a one stop shop for young people, as we have other local youth organisations who work in tandem with our Youth Services Team to offer maximum support to young people in our City.
Our biggest aim is to ensure that the programs and policies that we devise for young people in our City reflect their needs. We are committed to working in partnership with local organisations, in order to address the identified needs and issues within our community. This is achieved through a youth consultation process, with young people from our community. This enables us to foster an open forum for young people and community workers to discuss their needs and issues.
We offer a casual drop in service complete with plenty of fun activities for young people every Wednesday and Friday during the school term, from 3-5pm.
Current services co-located at the Belmore Youth Resource Centre include:
Address: Building 3, 38-40 Redman Parade, Belmore
If you are coming by train, just get off at Belmore station and simply turn right as you exit from the top of the station at Burwood Road. Walk about 100 metres down Redman Parade. When you get to the last building on the right, you will have reached us. Now all you have to do is simply come in!
We are open Monday to Friday 9am-5pm , except public holidays.
Drop-in time: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 3-5pm
