​​​​We provide up to date information on a range of services and activities that are available for seniors in the City of Canterbury Bankstown including social and community groups, activities and events as well as local health, community, advocacy and aged care services.​

These include:

  • Senior citizens centres;
  • Concession on Council facilities;
  • Home library service;
  • Home and community care forum;
  • Meals On Wheels;
  • Aged Care Assessment Team;
  • Carers (respite, home care);
  • Community transport and shopping; 
  • Community Restaurant; 
  • Dementia services;
  • Home-related services; and
  • Garden care. ​

From 1 July 2015 all referrals for home and community care and other aged care services need to be made via the national My Aged Care program via the website at www.myagedca​re.gov.au or by calling 1800 200 422.
