The digital world has a significant impact on the development our of children. 

Understanding the trends, cultures, and behaviours are essential. In this session, we will provide tangible strategies, ideologies and tools that help parents and carers directly in your home.    

This educational seminar will cover:  

  • Social networks: Platforms of interest, safety, privacy settings
  • Healthy minds: Time spent online, leisure pursuits, addictions, healthy balance 
  • The real picture: Most problematic social network and gaming platforms (data)
  • Mobile phones: Age for smart phone, cellular data, location settings, parental controls
  • Online gaming: Roblox, Discord, language, behaviour
  • Teen culture: TikTok, Snapchat, influencers, secrecy
  • Safety online: How to protect ourselves, Wi-Fi, parental controls 
  • Cultures and trends: YouTube, peer pressure and associations
  • Strategies: Tools, ideologies, recommendations and follow ups
