2019 Jobs and Skills Expo Success!​

More than 2,500 people attended the 2019 Canterbury-Bankstown Jobs and SkillsExpo on Tuesday 6 August, at Bankstown Library and Knowledge Centre.

Our local industry creates about 118,449 full-time local jobs, up 2.2 per cent from 2017, with the major employers being our small to medium-sized businesses.

Economic Development Strategic Vision 2020-25

A new five-year plan to support our local economy is now open for community feedback.

Canterbury-Bankstown has the eighth largest economy in NSW, accounting for $15.2 billion, and is made up of more than 30,700 local businesses, providing 118,000 jobs.
