As part of 2022 Bankstown Biennale SubTerrains, Bankstown Arts Centre will host a suite of programs, workshops and events throughout October and November.

SubTerrains Launch and artist talks

Join Bankstown Arts Centre for the launch of the 2nd Bankstown Biennale, SubTerrains, and an afternoon of artist talks.

When: Saturday 8 October, 11am-3pm

​Nawi building demonstration with Uncle Dean Kelly

Uncle Dean Kelly will host a Nawi (canoe) buidling demontration at Bankstown Arts Centre's courtyard. All are welcome to attend.
When: Saturday 15 October, 10am-4pm

​Riverculture Weaving workshops with Auntie Kerrie Kenton

Join Bankstown Arts Centre and Auntie Kerrie Kenton in our Riverculture Weaving Workshops, as part of the 2022 Bankstown Biennale, SubTerrains.

When: Saturday 29 October, 10.30am-Noon, 1-2.30pm

Age: 12 years +
Cost: $10 per person

Theatre Kantanka’s Dream Shutter live performances

Dream Shutter is a performance installation by Theatre Kantanka that fuses formal and popular psychology, story-telling and surreal photography with the desire to resonate this wild wondrous terrain with the audience and to inspire them to consider and commune with their own dreaming selves.

When: Saturday 5 November, 1-3pm

Cost: $10 per attendee
