2 -30 May 2017

This series of photographs depicts the organic essence, the inner beauty and fragility, of the native flora of Yeamaba Lagoon and Picnic Point, of which we are a part of, and live with.

These photographs are mainly of native wildflowers and orchids, taken in springtime, from 2015 to 2016 at Sylvan Grove Native Garden and Yemarba Lagoon, the black and whites were taken March 2017 in Yemarba Lagoon after the heavy downpours we encountered.

This is only the beginning; I intend to capture more photographs, over my lifetime, discovering more of the inner beauty of the magnificent native floral species within Yemarba Lagoon and Sylvan Grove Native Garden.

Neoklis Bloukos has a passion for photography since he was 14 years of age. After taking photographs for 43 years, he truly believe it is the one of the most significant visual medium.
